Isn’t “Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?” as applicable to police as to government? And do not societal values change over time? If so, doesn’t that assure periodic police “reform” demands?
I think you’re on to something, Jack. The police were *supposed* to be brutal to black people. Now that the mainstream culture has changed, so too must the police.
