Lode Cossaer is a PhD student at the Catholic University of Leuven. He is doing his PhD in political philosophy, on the institutional implications of the tension between universal individual rights and group self governance, both relevant, but seemingly conflicting, interpretations of modern liberalism. He teaches micro- and macro economics at a private business school. His intellectual inspirations go from Hayek and Rawls to Nozick and De Jasay and everything in between.
