    Aleksander Solzhenitsyn noted in the early ’70’s that the end of a society was marked by the disappearance of the arts. Spreading politicization does that, and ends humor too …

    • Agreed, up to a certain point Jack: humor doesn’t end amid stifling times, it just gets subtler and deeper.
