It’s not a great time for Atlanta’s highways… they’ve just had another incident.

We could certainly overreact… freak occurrences happen in markets too. But maybe it’s not a freak occurrence. Maybe government just isn’t that good at providing infrastructure.
Everybody knows that Atlanta’s roads are shoddy because we don’t pay enough in taxes. We try to raise them enough to cover the 10X DOT workers required vs. the private sector, but it’s hard to compete for funding with wildly popular projects like light rail. And streetcars. It’s time to try a special sales tax that other people will pay. #sarcasm
