It’s just beneath the fold…

Behold Liechtenstein, one of the smallest countries in the world. Aside from being extremely small (and rich), Liechtenstein is one of the most decentralized states on the planet. It’s history is probably a bit boring, which is also one of the reasons it’s rich.

That’s about all I know about the country, to be honest. My best guess is that it a holdover of the Holy Roman Empire, back when what is now Germany was a conglomeration of hundreds of small polities.
